NERA ("NERA", "we", "us", or "our") is a traditional board game developed and published as a mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains how NERA handles information when you use the NERA mobile application, including its online multiplayer features.

Anonymous Authentication
When you use online multiplayer features, NERA uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create an anonymous identifier for your game session.
Anonymous authentication does not require you to provide your real name, email address, phone number, or password.
Player Name or Nickname
NERA may allow you to enter a player name or nickname when using multiplayer features.
Providing a player name or nickname is optional.
If you provide a player name or nickname, it may be shared with the other player in the same online match.
You should not enter sensitive personal information into a player name or nickname.
Online Game Information
When using online multiplayer, NERA transmits information required to operate and synchronize the match. This may include the game room code, anonymous player identifier, player name or nickname when provided, game moves, placements, scores, round information, game status, and message timestamps.
3. How We Use Information
Information handled by NERA is used for purposes such as:
- Providing and operating online multiplayer games.
- Creating and managing anonymous game sessions.
- Connecting players through online game rooms.
- Synchronizing game state between players.
- Displaying player names or nicknames during multiplayer games.

4. Firebase and Cloud Firestore
NERA uses services provided by Google Firebase to support its online multiplayer functionality.
NERA uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create an anonymous identifier for online game sessions.
NERA also uses Google Cloud Firestore to support online multiplayer communication. Game messages may contain the anonymous player identifier, message type, game information, and a server-generated timestamp.

5. Data Sharing
NERA does not sell your personal information.
When you use online multiplayer, information necessary to operate the match is processed through Firebase and Cloud Firestore.
A player name or nickname that you choose to provide may be shared with the other player in the same online match.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of NERA and its users.
6. Data Retention
Online multiplayer information is retained only as necessary for the operation, security, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the online game service, subject to the configuration and operation of the underlying Firebase services.
NERA does not require users to maintain a traditional personal account containing information such as an email address, phone number, or password.
7. Data and Deletion Requests
NERA uses anonymous authentication for online multiplayer and does not require users to create a traditional account using an email address or password.

8. Children's Privacy
